The painting is by famed Puerto Rican artist Pedro Sanchez, and is the only nude known to have been painted by him. In 2000 the artist asked to buy the painting back. His paintings are in the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, where he is famous for his portraits; painting his subjects with incredibly intricate and interesting textiles. The bathroom features its original fixtures, including a claw foot tub. The view from this room is across the expansive front lawn, a thousand acres of neighboring farm, and up to the mountains of Shenandoah National Park.
